The shadow of the Empire is cast on a major city on Lothal in this previously unseen concept art by Andre Kirk from the upcoming animated series Star Wars Rebels.
This reminds me so much of the original Star Wars concept art-that black fortress in the middle looks like some of the original concept art for the unfinished Death Star, and the white spires remind me of Alderaan. So Bravo Star Wars, Bravo.
It popped into my head and the image was so cute I had to draw it?????
If Wildheart and Starlight ever had a crossover I am certain that Riko would insist on doing Miu’s hair, blue Cures gotta stick together and talk about their sporty girlfriends
Sounds like somebody is going to have to talk to somebody about plotting out a ‘movie’ for their Fanseasons. :D
Are you telling me
that they canceled young justice
because more girls watched it than boys?
I hate this so much
Meanwhile when boys watch shows meant for girls, they take over and the execs cater directly to them.
brb looking for a .gif of Rarity flipping a table to express my feelings on this
To clarify, if men watch MLP, it’s a blip on the radar, and most of them watch it online sans comercials. They buy toys regardless of marketing. If boys in the 6-14 age range watch MLP, it’s Disaster Control Time for Hasbro. Girls in 6-14 watching YJ is a demographic they do not want to have competing with their boy-toy commercial timeslots, and the advertisers don’t want to bother learning how to advertise to both genders at once.
I have seen a lot of people debating the time and setting of “Frozen,” and I thought it might be useful for people who can’t afford the $40 to get the concept art book but still want to make accurate fanart/fic to have this canon info, straight from the creators.
I thought a lot of these details were really cool, and yet they are so subtle that it’s easy to miss in the context of the movie even after multiple rewatches. I love that Elsa has a snowflake “signature.” You see it in the Frozen logo at the start of the film, and it appears in everything she creates (when she steps down, etc.) Awesome!
Of course this stuff is just the tip of the iceberg, and if you want to really delve into all the extra backstory and info I definitely recommend buying the book!
Man, the 1840s, what a time. I can’t help but want to know more about this-is there a whole fantasy continent out there, with fairies and dragons and all that, mixed with Liberals and Jacobins and Industrialization and Marxism? Will Ardenelle feel the heat of the Summer of Revolution, or will the young queen prove popular and loved? Hardly questions to answer in a movie-but every detail leaves me salivating for more.
Reblog if you would play a video game with a trans* protagonist
I just want to see how many people would be in favor of me having a trans* main char for my independent game I’m designing for a competition.
Reblog with the District that you would live in if Panem was real. I wanna see how far this actually goes lol
Someone help, I’m drowning. I’m right on the edge of a nation and I’m drowning
oooh just barely squeezing in 12
riiight on the edge between 1 and the capital
12, almost 11
well, I’m under the sea, lol.
I live in the wild!!!!
You normally live under water.
Why is the eastern edge of District 6 a military camp? What is the Capital hiding from us? What really is on the other side of the Great Lakes?
This is probably the funniest thing I’ve ever seen in my life
the Dojin that launched Azumanga and Yotsuba&!
how long must we wait for a lesbian disney princess
or what about a prince who throughout the entire movie you think he’s going to be the love interest but in the end it turns out he’s gay
or how about a lesbian princess
how about a princess whose sexuality doesn’t matter and that doesn’t focus or rely on a love interest????
or a lesbian princess
you know what i want? a lesbian princess.
Clearly, the only way to resolve this is to have a bunch of lesbian princesses, gay princes, an asexual princess, all against the background of some huge dynamic multi-state thing going on, like some alliance against some dark lord, and all the heirs are teamed up to do some Fellowship of the Rings type deal.
Lesbian Princesses hook up and live happily ever after, uniting their realms with marriage and magically produced heirs.
tall warrior woman wearing heavy armor and wielding a two-handed blade leaning over so her princess girlfriend wearing a pretty dress can stand on tippy-toes to kiss her on the cheek
Landschneckt? I prefer axes and lances for my tall knights, but with the two-hander, this lady becomes a badass mercenary who cares only for love and money-and love had better pay for dinner.
